Practical & Healthy Advice For Weight Loss
It’s a mistake to make too many changes at once. Only change one thing at a time.
* On wakening have a glass of water and freshly squeezed lemon juice;
* Your dinner plate should be 30-50% vegetables (but not potatoes);
* Eat fresh fruit, but not bananas, instead of drinking juice;
* Think before you eat. Don’t just think about pleasure. Is what you are about to eat going to help or hinder your body?;
* Watch those accompaniments. They can ruin an otherwise healthy choice;
* Do not skip meals;
* Eat only when you have a little hunger. Do not eat simply because someone offers you food;
* If you must drink coffee then try to stick to black. Lattes and the like should just be the very occasional treat. They’re too high in calories for daily consumption;
* Stay away from fried foods;
* Chocolate should be a luxury not part of your daily diet;
* To get the right nutritional balance eat a wide variety of healthy foods;
* Eliminate alcohol;
* Make good choices when picking a snack. Fruit along with a few nuts or seeds is a healthy snack;
* Eat lots of high water content food;
* You’re aiming for strategies that you can stick to long term so don’t eat too much protein: 20 to 30% of food intake is okay;
* Don’t look on carbohydrates had all bad. Avoid simple carbohydrates. Eat complex carbohydrates such as wholegrains instead; and
* Make sure your diet includes good sources of omegas.
